Used for centuries Balinese massage was developed as a healing methodology to treat bodily pain, with historical influence from the traditional medicine systems of India and China. Balinese massage incorporates acupressure, skin rolling, stroking, percussion, and the application of healing herbal oils. The goal of this treatment is to relieve tension, improve blood flow, ease stress, and calm the mind. It can also help to improve the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular and nervous systems.
Performed lying down on a massage table and offered as a 60- or 90-minute experience. This course is delivered by fully qualified trainers. No previous massage experience is required. On successful completion of this course students will receive a Mandara Spa Training Center Certificate.
